Faces of India

Some of the most inspiring, tragic, incredible photographs to look at are those of people; portraits.  They are raw and telling.  And some of the hardest to take.  To capture the essence of a person, a still image of a person who lives in a tumultuous, moving world is incredibly difficult.  It is something I aspire to be able to do, but feel incredible daunted by the prospect.

These are some of the faces of India.  These are people whose world view is so incredibly different from my own, but have given me some type of insight into the life they live.  I hope in the future I can find the courage to confront the individuals of the world and ask for a piece of themselves to help me find my way.
